About Us

Genean was born and raised right here in Pitt County.  She has been in dentistry for 27 years in different capacities - Dental Assistant, Administrative Assistant, and Office Manager since 2017.  She enjoys building relationships with patients and helping them understand their treatment needs to put them at ease.  In her spare time you can find her reading a book, hunting and fishing with her husband, and watching their 2 teenage boys' athletic pursuits.

Kodee was born and raised in the Golden State of California where she loved going to the beaches at Bodega Bay.  She moved to Little Washington in 2019 to be closer to family.  She has 2 cats and a crazy German Sheppard dog.  You can catch her on the weekends tearing up the mud around Eastern NC on her ATV with her riding buddy and boyfriend Bill.  When not working or riding, she likes watching Football.

Megan was born in army base in Stuttgart, Germany.  Her dad was deployed there during the Cold War.  She came state side when she was 2.  As all Army brats, she has lived in Pennsylvania, Washington, Colorado and The Carolinas.  Megan has been living in Eastern North Carolina for 25 years.  She is Married to Josh and share 3 beautiful children: Martina, Madison and Sloan.  They have 2 dogs and a crazy cat.  Megan received her Associate's Degree in Office Administration from Pitt Community College in 2019.  When not at work, Megan enjoys spending time with her family.

From welcoming you at the Front Desk to brightening your smile as a part-time Dental Hygienist, Crystal believes strongly that a smile translates into any language!  Having over 21 years as a Dental Hygienist, she is passionate about providing encouraging strategies to help our patients improve and maintain their oral health.  Crystal has also received additional training and certification in the use of local anesthesia.  She is married to her husband Kenn, who is a HUGE ECU Pirates fan.  She loves all things gardening and chicken-related.  Crystal is also passionate about her faith and invests a lot of time in overseas missions and spending as much time as possible with her God-Children.

Devon was born and raised right here in Pitt County.  She earned her Dental Hygienist degree from Wayne Community College in 2013.  She received additional training and certification in the use of local anesthesia.  She is dedicated to helping patients understand and take care of their oral health, while providing the highest quality of care in a warm and welcoming environment.  She is married to her husband Matt and has 2 amazing children, Lanie and Luke.  They have many pets including dogs, cats and chickens with hopes to expand her mini-farm in the years to come.  Devon and her family are very involved in their church, and believe that all things are possible through God.  When not working, she can be found outside spending time with her family.

Carol started in dental assisting in 1988 and has been with us since Dr. Gamboa bought the practice in 2013.  According to Carol, the best part of her job is the friendships she makes with our patients and the things she learns from them.  When she is not working, Carol can be found working in her garden or drinking coffee on her deck with her dog, Buddy.  She will be retiring in 2025 but may work with us from time to time.

Mikiyah was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina.  She graduated from NC Dental U in 2024 with a Dental Assistant Certificate and has been working with us since then.  On her free time she likes going shopping with her daughter Harmony and her boyfriend Caleb.  Mikiyah and her family enjoy going to Church and participating in Church activities.

Josette was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina.  She graduated from NC Dental U in 2023 with a Dental Assistant Certificate.  Before joining our team, she was actually one of our patients.  She became a Dental Assistant because she loves to make people smile and feel great about themselves.  Josette has a loving husband and a family in the making.  When she isn't in the office, you can catch her fishing, spending time with her family, or at church singing and leading the youth program with her husband.

Mya was born and raised in the Outer Banks and recently moved to Greenville.  She graduated from the College of the Albemarle in 2024 with a Dental Assistant Certificate.  In her free time you can find her going on a walk, fishing or hanging out with her friends.
